Now it was time to reach out to people in our community. Our team has been working with the Jersey City Parks Coalition. We are having a meeting with one of its members, his name is Mory Thomas. The meeting will take place in our school from 3 to 4 P.M. on Tuesday, 11-20-18. Mory will be showing us spots in Jersey City that have no trees, as well as a map of all documented trees in our community. Mory will also talk to us about the best trees for placement within our urban environment. We will also show Mory our collection of tree cuttings and share with him our plan for adding more trees in Jersey City to assist in reducing CO2.
