C.D.A.P.T 2.0

Our C.D.A.P.T. 2.0 is up and running in front of our school’s bus stop. Based on our AtmoTube data of the air quality that is released from a vehicle’s exhaust, we determined that the best location for our technology would be in an area where cars and buses frequently idle their engines and release high amounts of particle pollution. This is also an area where a lot of students gather before and after school, unfortunately breathing in poor air. Our C.D.A.P.T 2.0 will take in the polluted air, which will get pushed through our filtration media and carbon filter to remove the pollution within the air. Our C.D.A.P.T. 2.0 will also have an area for one of our aquaponically grown plants (Juniper), which will assist in absorbing CO2 as well. It's kind of like our original C.D.A.P.T but with a few modifications. The C.D.A.P.T 2.0 has a motion sensor and actives for about 38 seconds. Our team is planing to make another one so we can put around the area!
