Aquaponics

When our team first started we did research to fully grasp the effect CO2 has on our planet. Once we figured out the basics, it was time for action. We started to take the cutting from outside of our school. We collected cuttings of a Buddleia, Birch trees, Creeping yew, Willow, Paper birch, Empress tree, Northern Catalpa, and various others. We also planted acorns from oak trees and Live oak and many others. Soon after we got those cutting we quickly took action and started preparing them to plant them in Vertical Aquaponic Gardens in our science classroom.  We hope that they will all grow successfully throughout the winter months and be ready to be planted in our community in the spring.

The progress of our plants!

The progress of the plants growing is taking time but overall the results are excellent. Some of our plants have been in shock due to the fact, that we got those cuttings during the middle of winter. While some of our plants have been in shock, some of our plants have grown roots already. It's been a couple of months and the results are great.
