We are Co2 A.P.T. we are a team of six 8th grade students. We are working on improving the earth by reducing the amount of Co2 levels in the atmosphere. We want to improve our planet for future generations. The main question is what’s the issue with Co2? The long answer is-humans keep emitting Co2 into the air this will cause the Earth to reach a terrible fate. What is Co2 exactly? Co2 is carbon dioxide and that is a green-house gas. Green-house gasses build up in our atmosphere and act as a blanket keeping I the warm heat making Earth hotter. Green-house gases are caused by burning fossil fuels which we do on a daily and don't even realize it. Gasoline, coal, oil, and natural gas can cause Co2 to appear in the atmosphere. We are here to try to lessen the effect of our carbon footprint on our beloved planet.
